Join us for The Northern Causeway Coast Walking Route, one of Ireland’s most scenic and varied coastal walks, where we get to soak up all the views and the local delicacies!

  1. Day 1 Arrival

    Departing Dublin Airport at 12 noon (Belfast 3pm) we will make our way to Belfast stopping at the Titanic Centre where you will have the opportunity to visit the Titanic Centre in Belfast and the take in the Titanic Experience Tour before continuing our journey to the North Coast.

  2. Day 2 The Causeway Coastal Way

    After Breakfast we will depart for the village of Ballintoy and our tour of the North Coast will start at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge in Ballintoy. Once you have experience the iconic rope bridge, we will take a visit to the beautiful Balintoy Harbour before the start our journey on foot from Dunseverick Castle along the majestic Causeway Coastal Way, where you will need the cameras at the ready, to our finish at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Giants Causeway.

    Distance: 8km/ 5Miles, Ascent: 100 m/300 ft Approximate walking time: 3 hrs

  3. Day 3 The North Coast Experience

    Our day will start in the town of Portrush for a journey of local, gastronomic discovery! Discover old recipes and new trends.  Talk to traditional family owned restaurants and up and coming artisan cafes and eateries. Taste all our history and culture. Truly experience the creative future of our home on a scintillating, surprising, seriously tasty Irish Food Tour.

    Our Day will then continue onwards towards Bushmills where we will visit the oldest working Irish Whiskey Distillery where you will have the opportunity to see the Irish Whiskey Making Techniques and even sample a tipple!

    Finally, our day will be completed with a visit to the iconic ‘Dark Hedges’ and its beautiful avenue of 18th Century planted beech trees.

  4. Day 4 Eagles Hill & Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple

    Our final days walking we will be treated to another Cliff top Walk and open mountain side of the Northern Sperrins, overlooking Benone Beach, Lough Foyle and the Inishowen Peninsula in Co. Donegal. During the walk you may be joined by some of the cliff nesting birds that nest below you such as fulmar and peregrine.

    In the afternoon we will visit the National Trust properties of Downhill Demesne and Hazelett House which will allow you to step back in time and admire the views from the iconic Mussenden Temple.

    In the evening we will take in an Irish Pub experience in a traditional Irish Bar and Restaurant.

    Walking Distance: 6 KM 3 Miles Total Assent 250m Total Walking Time 2.5hrs

  5. Day 5 Departure

    All good things come to an end and after breakfast we will depart Coleraine for Dublin (via a drop off in Belfast) arriving at Dublin Airport at approximately 1pm.

The tour will include some rugged terrain so sturdy suitable footwear is a must.

The tour starts and finishes in Dublin.

A minimum of 4 * Hotel accommodation is used for this tour.
